Starting the Week with Energetic Movement at Daisy International Nursery

At Daisy International Nursery, we love beginning the week with active play and joyful learning. On the first day of this week, the children were full of energy as we sang a lively hello song with instruments and jumped straight into a favorite movement game — The Floor is Lava.

The children were excited to follow the rules of the game, listening carefully for the countdown “5, 4, 3, 2, 1” before escaping from the lava. This playful activity not only encouraged movement but also helped develop listening skills, self-regulation, and memory.

After the fun indoors, everyone went outside to continue the energetic play. Together we enjoyed a game called Fill in the Ball Pit. The children ran back and forth, putting balls into the pit again and again until it was completely full. Laughter, teamwork, and determination filled the playground as the children worked together to reach their goal.

At Daisy International Nursery, we believe in starting the week with activities that combine movement, creativity, and cooperation. These experiences give children the chance to explore, build friendships, and begin the week with excitement and joy.
